Installed the Hurst Short Throw Shifter

I just got finished installing the Hurst Shifter, I can say honestly the most difficult part was getting the rubber boot back on. Those who have done the install know what I'm talking about. I love the way it looks sounds and feels, money well spent in my honest opinion. Here are some pics...

That thing looks like it stands alot taller than the height of the stock knob. I love the look of the Hurst but I gotta keep the stock height.

Yes.....I sliced a knuckle pretty good trying to put a rubber boot on.

The black ball looks NICE in you setup!

The Hurst is definately higher than stock but it's not that bad. I think they had to make it that tall for leverage in order to reduce the throw (don't quote me on that),

All though not one of the main reasons by any means, it was one of the reasons I ditched the Hurst and went to MGW. I LOVE the MGW and their Race Knob!

Do you feel there is an improvement in the 2-3 shift?

Vernal, I never really had a problem with 2nd to 3rd, but I can say that everything is more direct, with more positive feedback.
