Suggestions for trunk caddy to hold shopping bags?
Anyone know of a caddy or something that will fit nicely in the trunk? Every time I go to the store I end up with groceries and stuff all over my trunk because the bags open and stuff rolls out. I'm only 5'2" so it's a pain to try to dig out the stuff deep in the trunk. I have the cargo net, but that isn't big enough most of the time. I'd appreciate any links if anyone has found something useful. Thanks!

Yes they do, but it will hold maybe 2 small bags, close to the trunk lid only.

Our Wal-Mart sells these canvas shopping bags with handles. Look a little like a beach bag. They hold MUCH more than the plastic sacks and stand up a lot better in the trunk. Also good for the environment or so they say....
Reason I like them is that they cut down on the trips between the car and the house unloading the groceries...

Ohhhhhhh man, really. If I ever go to the store, I have to adjust my driving habits :-P I don't like having anything in my truck 'cause it'll just go sliding around.

Well that's because they reduce the amount of non-biodegradable plastic waste.
Support your boys in the plastics industry! (me) Stop using those plastic bags... plants shut down... people lose jobs. HELP the environment by re-using these plastic bags before you discard them. |

This is what you want for the trunk. I have this in both my 68 and 2010 and use them for storing cleaning supplies. The nice thing about it is you can zip it closed or have it open and it keeps a rectangular shape.
More pics here..... I've gotten mine at Walmart for around $15..........they don't show up on the website, but the stores should have them.

Thanks for the suggestions! I found the GM cargo net fairly useless. I'm going to try one of the cargo organizers that fold flat, something like this... http://www.etrailer.com/p-59001.htm

I use a plastic under bed tote from Target (without the lid). They make long and short ones.
