They really are 2 very different classes of car. To me the Vette is more of a luxury sports car whereas the Z28, fast as it may be, will still be a standard muscle car.

Came from a vette. Not a Z06. Now have kids. Love my Camaro. When kids are grown, getting a Z06.

Well I think I'm getting the ZO6.In a year if the Z28 blows my mind I may trade, but I'm very doubtful.

ZO6 hands down, who cares if everyone else thinks its a regular vette. I dont buy cars for them, i buy them to make me happy. And as far as the comment on the "rarity", Check out the numbers on the 09 and 10 Z06, not a lot running around. Probably going to be plenty of z28s.

Thats a good deal on an 09, there are plenty of 06 and 07s going for that around here with more miles.

zo6 hands down. and cyber grey is one of the hottest colors.
no matter what engine they put in the z28, the zo6 will always be faster.
hell they will not make the camaro faster then the cts-v or even an ls3 corvette, but who knows. so much speculation going around.

I went through almost the same thing you did. I was debating on an 06 or 07 Z06 or the 2SS I got. There is obviously a price difference between the two, but I will have done modifications to equal it out. I decided on the C5 because I wanted something that was mine from brand new and know every little thing about it. Change the oil on it every time and keep it forever.
