You can save this thread to review and find easily later on:

1. Goto Thread Tools.

You can find it again by going into your User CP. The threads that you have subscribed to are listed. If it is not shown on the screen click on View all Subscribed Threads.

I find this to be the best way to locate Threads that are not always updated.

Hope that this helps.

I went to the website also and didn't find any info on that paint code, but I did see that they had paint codes for GM wheels. So when I called them I spoke with a guy name Tim Desslip who told me that it was Spraylat's paint that was used for those RS wheels.

Here's the contact info:

Spraylat Corporation

3465 S. LaCienega Blvd.

Phone: 800-867-7729

I scratched up my passenger's side front midnight silver wheel early on as well. After I came out of shock I called my dealer to see if they had a wheel guy. To my delight they worked with an outfit called Mobile Auto Doctors. These guys showed up and they mixed up silver and black paint and sprayed my wheel back in the detail area of my dealership. The results were amazing! They fixed the wheel about 3 months ago, but to this day if I did not have these pictures I would not know where the damage was originally!

Aren't we all paying $475.00 for "Polished Aluminum" Why wouldn't they call it painted shiny rims?

Not really sure what you are trying to say here, but anyways.....

So, where can we get this touch-up paint, WA-263M???? I need it too after I "biffed" a curb. I went to my dealership and asked, they said they don't have it in their system, can't even get it at this point. So I guess we have to special order thru Spraylat???? I e-mailed them last week asking to confirm the above code and they still haven't replied, I guess I'll have to call them. What a pain in the @$$!!! There's gotta be an easier way to get this stuff.

Although I had the option to pay an additional $475 or $480 (forget the exact price) for the polished aluminum wheel option, I opted to stay with the painted midnight silver (painted) finish which comes with the RS option.
