Lol maybe stock but add a cam and heads and there is a ton of drone and they are obnoxiously loud.

I have had Corsa on my 04 Z71 Tahoe for close to 8 years and never had a drone issue. It's loud and throaty but the truck has a solid top.

I was thinking of going with them on my 2SS/RS but wondered how much louder it would be installed in the convertible?

I had a Magnaflow 15090 "Competition Series" cat-back system on mine and took it off as it sounded great when you stomped on the gas but the annoying hummmmmm was getting old.

Anyone want to buy a 15090 Magnaflow, it has about 10,000 miles on it ($700)?

I have dynatech headers and high flow cats, with the solo Mach cat back exhaust. I love it! Sounds awesome on start up, but you can still have a conversation at highway speeds. If you want it louder, just push the go pedal!

My Corsa should be in next week, so I'll let you know! There are two versions, one for the Ls3 and one for L99. The L99 version has an extra resonator to deal with AFM and I think this version is also recommended if you intend to add headers and such to keep the sound acceptable. I almost went with Solo, but, although I'm sure its functional, the design seems like the J-tubes were an afterthought or band-aid to deal with the drone instead of designing for it in the beginning.

Love my Corsa but be warned AFM will drive you nuts! Get the range device to get rid of the AFM.

You have the version with the resonator and still had AFM issues? If that is the case I would have went with the ls3 version and picked up a range. My research seemed to indicate the l99 version did a good job with AFM.

Of all the cat back exhausts corsa will do the best at masking it. With that said it bothered me so much I pulled it off in 5 miles and yes that was the L99 version. Anything other then stock you can clearly hear and feel.

Since December it's been sitting in my guest room as a paperweight. I only just got it back on 2 weeks ago AFTER getting the range device and now I love it!

That kinda sucks. I haven't been able to hear AFM so far, so once I do I hope it isnt doesnt bother me enough to make me feel the same way. But if it does I guess I will just have to live with it, the range is a little pricey for me. Jjust realized it was like 200 bucks for a plug!)

But we'll worth it, not just for the sound. The car never drop to 4 so you always have the full v8 power. It's the best $186 I've spent.

Have you compared the Corsa sound with the stainless retro the above poster mentioned? I did my research on exhaust a few months ago, then pulled the trigger last week. Now I'm hearing good things about the stainless exhaust as well, but I didnt find much on it a few months ago.

I've not heard it in person but have read great reviews on it. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
