Hey guys what have people been doing for small mods or aftermarket to items. Other than cold air? I did find the 3M clear bra on ebay for 280.oo. Send me some pics or ideas please.

I think a really grest looming mod is the AAC ghosted side markers. They are discussed in the lighting section and are about $250 if I remember correctly. The car looks so good stock I find it hard to improve on the looks. One thing that is cheap is covering the bow ties with a colored film. I find the gold a bit much.

Performance wise the Cold Air is the best option, followed by a tune

But the only mods I have completed so far are all cosmetic and were all under $1k

So far I have completed the following:

Windows Tinted

Bowties front and rear changed to Black/White Painted

DRL's changed to LEDs, along with the licence plate lights, dome light and trunk light

Tailight Bezels changed to Flat Black

Added ZL1 underhood Logo

Added Floormats with ZL1 Logo

Mild to Wild Added

Blendmount added to Mirror with Valentine V1 Radar Detector Hardwired

Currently at the bodyshop is my Engine Cover, Strut Brace and Fuse Box Cover - they are all getting painted

And I've also ordered Showstopper LED Sidemarkers with Tint

Next on the list is changing the Camaro lettering to Flat Black, and possibly having the Camaro letters on the wheels painted White, and adding a white pinstripe to the wheels

I think you can do a CAI and a tune for $1000, should gain quite a bit of HP!

Then there is the pulley mod, which you can also do for less than a $1000.

Another cool little mod is a $20 160degree thermostat, why? Change to a 160 degree thermostat and you will lower coolant temps. Coolant is what cools the oil in those cars, so you will also drop oil temps. Result? Blower sits on a colder engine = less intake air temps. I tested this myself.

You could do our 630hp out the door kit shipped to you for $850. If you do not have a tuner local to you we could also install a tune in you ECM for $300 or a handheld programmer with a preloaded tune for $650. Here is a link to the kit:

Pm me if you have any questions.

i dont quite understand why every1 thinks the 160 degree thermostat keeps it cooler. it does nothing but opens a little sooner but after its open the coolant temp remains the same as stock it just takes it an extra few mins to get up there vs the stock thermostat

To correclty implement a lower thermostat you have to tune you cooling fans as well. it is a system.

if you lower your fan off point and have enough airlfow at speed you can keep your tems lower that stock.
