So valid proof is "here we go again?" Finally they were both tested on the same track with the same conditions. ZL1 > GT500 at road course.

I concede that it will never change. I will also say that the GT500 was able to accelerate better and hit higher top speeds. Clearly speed isn't everything though as the non-supercharged 1LE was only a second off the pace of the GT500.
