2010 Camaro LLT headers. . Do I need a tune?

Hello,
So I read alot of threads and most people say that when you put headers in your camaro you need to tune it... im very interested in installing headers but I don't want to tune because I have an extended warranty and the dealership told me that any tune would ruin my warranty.

So I was wondering is there any headers I can install without a tune and it wouldnt give me the check engine light?

Thanks guys

only shorty headers.

if you get long tube headers, you don't NEED to tune, but then you will get a check engine light.

Shorties are usually install just for sound.

Long are install for performance and sound.

You do get a little bit of performance out of short but not as much as long

V6 tune can be set back to factory if you need to get warranty work done. Techs can not detect there was a tune done.

yes, a couple years ago. If you have trifecta you can do it yourself and there is no record in the cars computer. V8s are a different story.

Yes. and yes.. now remember that the tune probably wont increase power. it will just turn off the CEL from the headers.. OP if you do install headers. check the installation thread we have in the V6 engine section.. lots of good info and tips.. and post issues and problems there..
