I Tried to Buying New Camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

i went to my local dealer today and tried to see what happened if i traded in my 2008 impala with 6600 miles and they that a V6 Camaro would comeout to be 25k PLUS 10k to the traded in since it was on Fin. so the total i would have to pay for a V6 LS 2010 Camaro is 35k Plus Intrest.

2010 V6 LS Camaro 25K
Trade cost +10k
Intrest +10K

Sorry Guys/ Girls But I don't think I'll get one this Year!
What do you Guys think i can do?

heh find a new dealer no way a loaded v6 can cost 35k

Woulddo like someone else stated. I only paid 38 for my 2SS IOM inside and out with sunroof. Wish I had went with RS package but even if had still would only be 4k over the V6 you wanted. They have fully loaded V6 at dealer I bought mine at and they only asking 31 for it. But that's just my opinion I would hold out and go and look around I think you can find better deal out there. Also maybe check into seeing if you sell your Impala straight out maybe you can get better out that way? Or you still upside down on it? Good luck on getting one of these sweet cars!

To answer that Question yea i'm still upside down on it i just got it like 4 months ago for my wife, but she said if i was paying for a car than i should get something that i want.

EDIT: Misred the intial post. I say just pay off the Impala and wait it out for another car.

Doesn't sound like a dealer problem...he's upside down on the Impala. Bought it a few months ago and wants to trade it in

They would give you squat for trade in value + amount still owed + interest = $$$ owed(sounds about right)..

there are giving me 15K for trade in but i'm still upside down. so add that to LS 25K + 10K upside down. yea that is it i now i should have waited but i jumped the gun and now i'm sh!t out off luck.

Dude, keep the impala and use it.. Unless you have money to throw away..which in this economy few people do...

It's not the dealers fault they just can't do a deal and loose money. It has to make some money.
