So, I ended up picking up this LS9 blower for a price I could not pass up. Now in search of a Lingenfelter snout...Haha. What kind of horsepower will this thing make on a built motor with the blower maxed out and possibly on E85 or Meth? What RPM is considered maxed (pulley combo)...23,000?

Thanks
My LS9 blower really got hot if I ran it over 23K. I ended up at 835 wheel on 112 octane race gas running the 2.55 upper and if I remember correctly the 9.17 lower. I was on 427 ci at the time so even with the 2.3 at those rpms I was less than 15 pounds of boost. I think it could easily make 800 whp on stock displacement with E85 and if you ran it on straight methanol I'm sure you could make 900 or 1000 whp but it would take a ton of fuel pump and injector. Probably 3 squash pumps, 1/2 inch line and 2000 injectors.....maybe even more than that. The air fuel ratios are much less on the alcohols so you don't have to worry as much about the supercharger supplying air as you do about the fuel pump system. I've never tried to run the alcohol fuels because they are not as readily available for me. I generally run 100LL aviation fuel because I can get it anywhere and it is relatively cheap.

That sounds about right for stock displacement and pump gas. The big advantage of the LS9 or any 2.3 for that matter, is you are going to have more torque below 3000 rpm. In the top of the rpm range you can spin the 1.9 faster than the 2.3. The rpm recommendations by eaton are the same for the 1.9 and the 2.3 but the real world limits are different. If you have enough extra cooling you can push that 1.9 up to 25K for short bursts... 2.3 will never get there... the power falls off because it superheats the air and won't keep building revs... well, the rpms will still climb on the dyno with no air resistance on the car but the horsepower is dropping away so fast it couldn't keep pulling real gears......

How much better is the Heartbeat over the LS9 2300?

No comparison because the intercooler bricks are better and have very little pressure drop. And they move gobs of air. Andy at adm made 900rwhp with one and 1000rwtq. Plus they look awesome. Thats why i swapped to an lsa so i can later go with the heartbeat swap.
