In the top of the rpm range you can spin the 1.9 faster than the 2.3. The rpm recommendations by eaton are the same for the 1.9 and the 2.3 but the real world limits are different. If you have enough extra cooling you can push that 1.9 up to 25K for short bursts... 2.3 will never get there... the power falls off because it superheats the air and won't keep building revs... well, the rpms will still climb on the dyno with no air resistance on the car but the horsepower is dropping away so fast it couldn't keep pulling real gears......

How much better is the Heartbeat over the LS9 2300?

No comparison because the intercooler bricks are better and have very little pressure drop. And they move gobs of air. Andy at adm made 900rwhp with one and 1000rwtq. Plus they look awesome. Thats why i swapped to an lsa so i can later go with the heartbeat swap.
