**SWEET RIDE**
I love the blue and white combo on your Camaro. My buddy had a 69 El Camino with the blue and white paint scheme. He also had some gold pinstriping in the mix but I can't recall exactly how he did it. I believe he had his car's name on the tailgate and the fine pinstiping along the sides and around the edges of the white panels.
You have a good start and a good heart! Keep it up. BTW... I was 22 years old when I SOLD my 1969 Camaro SS 396... in 1978. DOH!!!! The time flies by quick. Enjoy EVERY minute! Thanks for stopping by my thread too. Jim aka Orange Krate's Dad

Following in her siblings footsteps, Mina will be adorned with Camaro5 stickers soon Placed my order this weekend and I can't wait to share our community with others...
And on that note, I had an awesome experience driving down JTB this past Saturday...I saw a RJT Camaro a few cars ahead of me. Usually, I flash my lights at fellow owners or give a wave and a thumbs up, but I knew I had to give this guy more. In his backseat it looked like one of his kids was glued to the back window looking at my car. When I got closer I could see that they had a LT (not hating on v6's!) and the guy's son recognized the mail slot So I pulled up beside them and gave them my usual thumbs up I could see their son was still drooling, so I showed them what a V8 with a muffler delete sounds like and sped off lol. I slowed down before I got off on my exit and waved again to the family as they went by. My only wish is that I had the window stickers on so the owner might have seen and checked us out! Just wanted to share the brief story, and say once again that I LOVE this forum. I look forward to reading these posts everyday and hopefully meeting more of you as the years go on... Here's to Chevrolet and the Camaros we adore -Lycanine

Posting pictures next week of Mina's "make-up" lol...I'm slowly starting the "whiteout" process
White gill vinyls on eBay White rear panel-eBay The guy doing my window tint will be putting these on at the same time ! All that's left (haha yeah right, we all say that at one point right?) is my Summit White heritage grill from Tonkin Chevrolet! Oh and a Vararam... And a...

So today almost felt like my birthday
I got home from teaching and found a few surprises waiting on me... After all this website did for me I figured the least Mina and I could do was show a little support back. So, I ordered myself a shirt and Mina some body art... I also ordered a car cover (Poor Mina is literally yellow with all our pollen), a "whiteout" rear panel vinyl, and white thin gill vinyls. I did the rear panel first. It required A LOT of patience, but in the end and with a little help from a heat gun I managed to get it on neatly. Unfortunately the day was gone by the time I was done, so my only pic for now is blurry... Now onto the most frustrating and difficult piece I put on (for now lol)...the thin gill vinyls. First, I'd like to say I know I should have waited and had them put on professionally. And yes, I also know that you get what you paid for ($14.95). But even using the wet application method these lil' pieces of white tape were the biggest p.i.t.a! I ended up stretching one out, could not get any of them to follow the curve of the gill, and all they convinced me of doing is going ahead and having them painted in. So, it's safe to say I'll be pulling these off after I visit a paint shop and let them "guess" at what I was attempting to do But it's all a learning process, and it's always nice to spend a sunny FL afternoon with the one you love hahahahaha... Happy Modding! -Jared

Ok, got a chance to take some pics in actual daylight lol
I contacted the guy I ordered the gills from, told him about my difficulty, and he's sending me another set for free For a brief second the pride in me wanted to try it again but this time I'm definitely waiting and having someone else put them on lol. Next up? Either Summit White heritage grill or Vararam...looks or speed?

I would go with the Vararam. Look at your maf and make sure its not the weak one though. The heritage grill has been having a little QA issue lately. I would wait until it is fixed.

Heritage Grill!
Woo! So my dream design is coming together slowly...I was scared to take the leap, but I think it looks absolutely beautiful with the IBM. So this came from Gary's custom, I received it within a week, and finally got a chance to put it on today. A little patience was needed since I did it by myself, but it man it looks goooooood
