Suspension Install Complete

Spent the weekend installing the remaining suspension components I had for the Camaro. All components are Pedders with the exception of the Trailing Arms and Toe Links, they are Spohn. Here is a breakdown of whats installed.

Phase One: (Completed a couple months ago)
Differential Bushings
Subframe Bushing
Toe Links
Pedders Eccentric Toe Adjuster

Phase Two:
Xa Supercar Coilovers
Front and Rear Sway Bars and Endlinks
Radius Rod Bushings
Steering Rack Bushing
Trailing Arms
Trailing Arm Knuckle Bushing
Front Camber Adjuster Screw
Pedders Eccentric Chamber Adjuster
Stock 9" Wheels and Tires (275s) on all four corners

Thanks to Rob at Wretched Motorsports for hooking me up on some great components. He is the man!

I'm scheduled for a performance alignment tomorrow, weather permitting. After that I can give better feedback on everything. The most noticeable thing right off the bat is the ride quality seems better that stock, and much better than my G8 with Xa coilovers. I'll have some tutorial on the install up in the near future.

Jeez that thing ought to feel likes it's mounted on a monorail...in a GREAT WAY... Solid cornering and wicked straight line acceleration...

My car is getting the solid subframe bushings, the Delron Diff Bushings, the adjustable toe rods and adjustable trailing arms...

Can't wait for the rest of the report! The ride I had in a car with Xas was excellent!!! I have no comparison with others, but I know how much I enjoyed it! I know I'll be locking down the suspension with a full complement of bushings though.

Wicked!!
Nothing like a well tuned suspension to make a Camaro fly on the autocross!!

You look like you are having a blast!

Great car!

STU is a tough class with Subaru STIs, EVOs, and late model M3s, most of which are driving on very good rubber like Star Specs. Have your mods helped you cut some quicker times? Have you considered getting some better rubber? It looks like you are competing on the P-zeros.

My suspension is modded with bushings, bars, and springs, but stock shocks. My tires are Goodyear F1s, which are better than stock all seasons but not ideal for auto-x. My car is quicker and I have also learned how to drive it better this year. Last year was my first season and I was at the back of the Pax index pack. This year so far I am at or near the middle.
