Expensive "RS" badge! Why?

I'm been thinking on getting the "RS" front badge for the heritage grille.. But everywhere i check is expensive! Why? Is only a small front decoration... Anybody knows this? And if anyone know a place where i can get it cheaper than $145 let me know... Thanks!

That is the emblem from Sparks. He is the only one making that design that I know of. Your going to have to pay if you want that one.

Maybe it's a licensing thing? They're paying GM to allow them to sell that? I know emblempros has to get licensing for the things they do GM and Ford related.. That costs quite a bit from my understanding.

It's also made from solid billet aluminum. Not just a cheap plastic emblem.

Its expensive because of the licensing and because its made out of quality materials. Its aluminum, not cheap plastic that can break easily. Additionally, it bolts on securely on with metal brackets and lock tite glue. Its worth every damn penny though. I have the front and rear SS emblems.

You will find that most of these after market pieces are astronomically high.

I'd be embarrassed to ask what they ask for these things.

Better get used to it. They are all this way.
