As i can see from website it is compatible with my diff.

But will it fit in real life?
And what parts do i need to do this replacement by myself or shop? (maybe new bearing or some seals etc. and it you have their p.n. please write them)
it's very complicated to deliver parts to my location) that's why i wish to order all of them together

Thank you in advance!
I am having one put in my 2012 RS this week, supposed to pick up the car today. Mine too is an auto and had to swap the rear from an SS car first before adding the TrueTrac. Originally I had the JRE modified clutches in the factory LSD unit, but cannot stand the noise and how tight it is for normal driving. Hoping the TrueTrac fixes my issues!

Ok well now I'm bringing this thread back up. I'm thinking about doing 3.91 gm gears. Is the Eaton true trac recommended since I'll do gear swap? Is it worth it? Any problems with it?

I ran one for 800 miles and didnt have an issue with it. I had an issue with the install job though. Once I get that all sorted out, Ill have one for sale! I thought it was worth it since the stock posi clutches have been known to be weak. The car also felt like it "bit" a little harder. I never got the chance to really get on it, but the few rolling onramps I did seemed like it was worth it.

It was a catastrophic failure. I invested over $2700 into that differential and it all crushed itself just like that. I cant afford to rebuild it again so I bought a brand new 1LE diff from the dealer. I took that diff to a different shop and they told me the only things that were ok were the trutrac and the case. The shop that originally rebuilt the diff didnt machine the JRE endcaps, even though they charged me for it. They ultrasonic'd the trutrac to make sure it was ok. So after everything is said and done, I get to MAYBE recoup $500.

Ya, Ill prolly just end up keeping it and rebuilding again another day. Im not going to get any money out of the stuff so I might as well keep it. Just really frustrated investing all that money to have it fail due to another humans error. I was too cheap to send the diff out to be rebuilt by Jannetty, RPM, or Lashway. Do it right once. Thats my advice!

I have about 12,000 miles on mine and its working great! Wish i would have done it from the get go instead of messing with the JRE clutch mod. Waisted a ton of money on labor and my time on that ordeal.

You can run a factory Dana 60 and be fine no matter how quick you run.

You can run a junkyard found Ford 9" rear with 31 spline axles will handle 95% of all the cars out there. I ran 9s with a junkyard 9" under a 1962 Chevy II. I just put some 5.14 gears in it as well as new rubber brake lines after a good cleaning and inspection. Not a bad $457 rear end investment - hell, even the brake rotors were fine.
