2013 rear defroster causing static on radio

Problem- static with radio reception on 2013 camaro coupe when using the rear defroster on a chilly morning.

Solution- take it to dealer- was at the dealer for 30 days - the Chevy engineer finally came and said "it is normal for this model". Why? Because MOST of them did it on the lot when they tested them after not being able to find the problem with ours.

We are guessing that the antena and defroster are too close together in the glass. The dealer was nice, but until Chevy agrees to fix the problem there is nothing the dealer can do.

So now we just wait for the Tech notes to come out and see if Chevy is going to do something. We heard some people swap the radio immediately and are told that is the problem.

How responsive is Chevy to replacing problems like this?
Anyone else with this issue? (had this been the summer we might have never noticed).
