ordered dec 15 2008 picked up on june 8 2009.
upgrades kooks 1 7/8" LTH w/ deleted cats, corsa exhaust, hurst short throw shifter stage 3 comp cam, 3.91 gears ecs kit blower, meth injection, upgraded axles, drive shaft, McLeod rxt clutch, fully forged 416ci stroker all installed and dyno tuned by slowhawk performance in bridgewater ma.

Nah its garaged all winter. I think it turned that color more from air. I let it sit for a while when I first drained it, it was darker

I doubt it's anything to worry about being sitting all winter condensation happens. Always a good idea to do an oil change after some hibernation.

Mine looks like that all winter during the most coldest weeks and when the weather warms it's black oil again.

As Ieatfordsforlunch pointed out it's very likely condensation.

The odd thing to me is I can drain the cold weather foam and let it sit in the garage for months and it never turns to straight black.

Damn i gots to get me one of those Seriously though, i've seen a lot of pics of all the junk that that can catches, trying to get one by the time my next oil change is due so i can start fresh.

i Just installed one on a L99 with the breather cap. Quick question. If you open the valve while the engine is running it should be on a vac correct? I went rear drivers side to center fitting then outside fitting to intake snout. Is this correct?

Correct. Valve closed no vac.

Also, for those not having any oil come out when draining, we just had a customer in that has had his to the dealer for an oil change and they told him no oil came out when they opened the drain. We opened it all the way and there was probably 1/3rd full!
