Passenger Door Speaker Problem

It sounds like its busted to hell unless I turn the bass from 0 (when it sounds pops a lot) to -2 or -3 and then lose most bass response I have the BA sound system and it's kinda got me pissed that its busted. I doubt it would be covered under any type of warranty so where would I look to find a replacement or upgrade that will fit like stock.

why would you think this is not covered under warrenty? Unless you have over 36000 miles it is covered.

they are 6 inch mid bass drivers. but they take soem extra work to get them installed being that there is a 2 5/8 inch baffle that is part of the speaker. molded one piece.

here are a couple of pics of what we built to replace the factory baffle.

My passenger side speaker blew out too. I have the BA system. The dealership fixed it under warranty so you should be good to go, unless said earlier, you have 36,000 miles.

Okay went to my local dealer today and they took a look at the speaker. There is a "note" from GM saying in a range of certain vins there is a speaker problem and they are going to replace both my door speakers and the amp. I know a buddy of mine is having the exact same issue so he is going to take his in too. I would suggest if you are have an issue to take it in and ask the service manager to look up any info on it. It will take sometime for the replacements to come in but fine with me since it's under warranty and FREE. I'm wondering if I shouldn't invest in dynomat and while they have the doors taken apark to line them with some mat to reduce any future rattles since I'm going to install 2 ten's after this issue gets fixed.
