Chevy Cust Service opened a case# for me.

I called Chevy cust service at 8002221020, a representative named Heather LaBousche checked the status of my car and said they do not have a TPW this week, but feel they will most likely have one next week, and she would call me next Friday with an update.

I then called my dealer to ask if I had movement, and he said GM had accepted my order and he cannot guarantee this, but he feels by next week we should have a TPW for my car...

When did you order yours? I'm thinking Oct 13th. Why did they have to open a case number? Is your dealer jacking you around? I didn't take time to search what has been going on with your car. My dealer told me mine wouldn't be in until fall.....but I ordered late Dec.

Edit: NICE Color on the Camaro you ordered.

I do not think my dealer is jerking me around. I ordered on 10/24/09 at this dealer and I was priority 2. I called cust care first and the cust service rep told me they will call me next week with an update. She eluded to the same thing my dealer told me afterwards without being able to promise it.

Personnaly, if not next week I think it will be right around the corner. I was not going to post until next week, but I wanted others to know cust care can look for changes. My rep put me on hold and called down to the ordering dept (as she told me) and came back with this news.

I'm probably about two months away from even calling my dealer to see where we are at with mine. I'm #78 but I'm at the number 1 dealer in the US. I thought about changing to another dealer but I think I will wait it out. The guys at classic are the only ones around me that had a clue about what was going on. I waited due to a contest they were having about a give a way which I didnt know the rules and should have at least put my order in back in Oct also but I sent two entries in each day thinking I had a shot. Maybe I will win the one Jimmy Johnson is giving away. I think I will claim it right NOW. Good luck with you order.

See if you can ask for a specific representative. Ask for Heather LaBousche to see if she can help. I ordered in October, so maybe they need to see movement before they check.

You have to call your dealer to find out if you had a movement?!?
