need mod help - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi guys I need some help I have a 2011 SS with a injen intake, sct Jannetty tune and a muffler delete the car sounds great now. I planned to put lt headers on. Saturday and then thought the car would probably be way to loud does anyone have this? I only have so much money to blow this weekend. I then thought I should get a cam put in but thought I should really have headers first. So I was thinking about getting the Pedder springs and sway bars installed since the car really does need the upgrade. And wait till I can save up for a cat back and then do the headers and cam. What do you guys think? Thank you for your input.

this is mine, it has a cold air, long tube headers, x-pipe, and muffler delete via SLP loudmouth 1. It is loud, definitely louder than most cars but it sounds awesome, never gets annoying, yours wont be as loud. this is first start up, making more videos soon if interested

Did you tune out the AFM? I would imagine the drone would be unbearable with straight pipes.

yes i did, but still without the afm, after i finished with everything, i expected amazingly loud drone, surprisingly the next day i had to take a 45min trip on the expressway and the drone was not to bad, there is drone (obv) but it is not to bad at all. its actually very comforting.

dyno clip = ONLY straight pipes (SLP Loudmouth 1)

exhaust clip = with headers, x-pipe, straight pipes

Dropping the car off for American Racing Headers w/ cats and x pipe. I have my resonators but deleted my mufflers I am hoping it is not going to be to crazy. Does anyone have a video of this setup? Thanks

Here you go...this is before cam. And yes its very loud

. Cruising and normal driving not too bad, punch it and it screams

Now that I have a cam its even louder

but I havent uploaded any videos yet. I personally love it. Mine is a LS3.
