L99 Lifter TSB Questions, Any GM techs in here?

Is it better, is it more suited for rpm, is it able to withstand some of the newer AFM cams from Mast, Texas Speed and Comp. Mine are making the tick and I can have them replaced under warranty but if they'll be just as weak as the older L99 lifters then I will opt out and go right to a LS7 lifter.

Any GM techs in here to discuss these NEW L99 LIFTERS?

a stock lifter is a stock lifter is a stock lifter.. its the material used in the construction (and of course design that makes a lifter hi performance)
LS7 lifters are no different, they wont solve anything long term if your having an issue now. A properly setup valve-train with correct PR length and spring install heights will cure most ailments but if you want a true hi performance lifter you switch to a Morel link bar( if they have an option for your application).

Morals and adj valvetrain have nothing to do with a DOD lifter that is ticking, its a known problem and a TSB now...IN 08 GM USED A BETTER DOD LIFTER IN THE G8 AND THOSE GUYS COULD RUN CAMS WITHOUT ISSUES, THESE NEW LIFTERS ARE HAVING ISSUES...HENCE THE QUESTION....

There are redesigned lifters out now. See post 6 for TSB (Camaro is probably included by engine, 2011s should be ok??:

Also reports of oil burners but not to many in the 6.2/6.0
