Nissan 370Z - Was my other choice before going with the Camaro. I don't think I went wrong, but it was a close 2nd.

I had a G8 and sold it right before I got the camaro. I LOVED that car and if it made sense to have both, I would! It was so plush and comfy, and my 6'4" friend rode comfortably in the back, actually having leg room (amazing!). Very smooth and FAST too. I'd love to have a G8 again one day with a maggie on it and some bolt ons, that would be slick.
I also love my TBSS, they make well over 300rwhp especially if you modify them. Not a 'new' vehicle any longer but I love it none the less. The practicality of an SUV (lots of room, five passenger, good visibility) but handles like a car (short turning radius, sporty suspension) and hauls $@%! Would be great for kids too - being higher up you/your wife won't be bending over to remove/install kiddies. |

Maybe you could get a slightly used Cadillac ATS with a 2.0 Turbocharged 272 hp.
But its definitely cooler for your kid to get picked up in the Camaro from school in the near future

And yeah, it is much cooler to be in the Camaro. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy watching the other dads in Malibus and Town and Country's look at my Camaro in the parking lot of the daycare haha. Really hoping to hang onto decent vehicles. I've managed to keep a motorcycle and Camaro alive so far!

Ha! Is this a real thing? If so my guess is super comfy and really fast. And...holy ugly.

I started a job 6 months ago that is a 150 mile round trip to work. The fuel costs got me thinking the same thing, and I started looking around. I don't have any kiddos, and none are planned - ever- but between fuel, tires, and just sheer mileage I was thinking I needed a change.
The only thing that came close to meeting all the wickets was a new Focus ST, you might want to check that car out. In the end, I decided I like the camaro way too much to part with. I've got snow tires and a shell card LOL, and I'm just going to keep driving the camaro.

I've told my wife if I had to get rid of my 2SS/RS for some reason the most likely replacement would be a Taurus SHO. More room than a Subaru, more power too.

lol people suggesting the Evo.
If people hate on the Camaro for having a cheap interior, I have horrible news for you buying that rice. |
