'13 ZL1 or '14 1LE?

I know there are a bunch of threads related to both models. Just looking for some specific feedback as I am currently trying to decide on which to purchase.

I think I could get a smokin' deal on a 2013 ZL1 as dealers are currently looking to unload their old stock. I like all the enhancements over my 2011 SS/RS. This would be the most expensive route even with a good price.

On the other hand I could order a brand new 2014 1LE with everything I want including the Recaros that were not available previous year. Wondering if I would be happy with all the new goodies even though it has the same power as my current ride. Still would be cheaper than a 2013 ZL1.

Just speaking about stock comparisons. I know you can mod a lesser model to be just as powerful as the Z.

All input is greatly appreciated!

ZL1 - any day, any time, any how. No comparison. The ZL1 is the ultimate production Camaro ever made. Yes the Z/28 will be king but try to get your hands on one.

What are your intentions for the car? Drag strip? Track? Daily driver? Collector car?

Even IF you get a smoking deal on a ZL1 you are still going to likely pay 12-14k more for it than the 1LE.

I'm willing to pony up the extra $$$ for the ZL1 if I decide that's the car I want. The car will be a split daily drive with my truck. No plans to run at the track or drag strip anytime soon.

1LE improvements over my current car: Recaros, My Link, NPP exhaust, upgraded wheels and tires, splitter, etc. BUT same power

ZL1: all of the above plus mag suspension and more power

Have you heard a ZL1 or been around one person? I just experienced my first and I can tell you it's a whole different world from the SS. If money isn't an issue get the ZL1.

Price difference aside, the only thing the 1LE has going for it is the Recaro seats.

I have a 2014 1LE and I love it but you should go with the ZL1 if you can.
