I'm keeping mine. at least until my 6 year old is old enough to pry it from me. I still have my 75 camaro (first car when I turned 18). That car served with me in the Navy and is still my baby. I got rid of an 80 RS and an 87 IROC. Wish I kept both, but not enough room in my driveway.

I've got 2 of em, and both are part of the family.... Kinda like another child... My plan is to own both titles and give one to my son when he's old enough. He's only 5, so I got plenty more me and Maro time!.

my father once told me story when he was in high school he had a 69 ss convertible which he traded for a ramcharger. A ramcharger? weve made a pact to keep anything cool we buy and just keep building bigger garages |

I'll keep it til the kids are out of the house than I'll get a vette.
I'll have a lot of fun with it in the meantime. Fun, like counting how many paint chips I have. Got my first last week! 600 miles on her! |

I'd like to say I'll keep it forever, but people are already asking me when I am gonna sell it. Reality is I rarely have cars for more than a couple years because I run out of patience or I just want something different. I don't feel like it will be the same with the Camaro, but I guess we will see what happens.

Actually, you are quite wrong about me. I am hardly ever angry. I enjoy life with the toys that I have been fortunate enough to EARN in our great country. Any anger that I have will be vented at the ballot box in November. There are many Bay Staters that feel exactly like I do about our present situation, hence: Scott Brown as the man that replaced Ted Kennedy as our senator. When Deval Patrick ran to be our governor, he promised tax relief. That was what he ran on. The reality is that he has raised tax after tax on us and we will be replacing him come November. Yes, it does piss me off that right up front, after getting my new Camaro last year, I had to pay about $2,000.00 worth of taxes immediately. WTF, I am the guy that works for my money, I could have used that two gees to buy some optional equipment. Back to the subject though, I plan on keeping my 1SS forever and replacing my winter beaters. They are taxed much less than new cars. I wonder how that will stimulate the economy? High taxes bring sales down.
