Interesting....

The LLT V6 motors have and conventinal intank pump and then it runs to a mechanical pump which sky-rockets the fuel pressure to upwards of 300+ PSI. So in order to do nitrous on a Direct Injection vehicle one will have to splice into the fuel line before the mechanical pump.

I am approximately 5.5 hours from Waco and might be interested. I've been toying with pulling the trigger on the Zex kit, so this is right up my alley. How long are ya gonna need the car for? I could probably drive it down on the weekend and drop it off for a week or so? What are the costs and the kit specifics? Feel free to PM me.

LOL! At WOT it's like 1700 PSI" and thennnn chris with a response that contradicts his first post that says "Yea i think it's like 500PSI at idle".... eh, give him your car, i cant wait to see it come back to u destroyed with no warranty left for messing with it.. Not trying to screw your thing up chris but come correct on these forums, especially when u want someones 30 thousand dollar car to play with.

I can't believe i didn't see this till now.

First off the car in my Sig is my personal car thats torn apart to have a some custom airbrushing done to it hence the fenders and front clip missing from the pic.

Second the fuel comment about 300+ PSI is just a general statment not ment to be taken into concrete translation hence the + sign and the upwards comment. The 500PSI at idle comment I read straight from the pages of GMHTP
Quote:
The meat and potatoes of the LLT's direct injection system. How it works: a conventional in-tank electric pump sends fuel toward the fuel rails, at which point a mechanical pump-seen at right side of photo driven off one of the exhaust cams-is used to boost fuel pressure to 1,700+ psi (or "only" about 500 psi at idle). Fuel then travels through stainless steel fuel rails to highly specialized fuel injectors, which spray directly into each cylinder. --->
