You will get Codes without a tune.

Just curious if it is that easy to get the additional hp and tq from a new pulley, why did Chevrolet not do this from the factory?

Rotofab intake says they do not require tuning from what I've read. And I know the catback doesn't on it's own would just be a bump In sound :P. stocks a little quiet for me. Eventually itl get tuned with a bunch of goodies waiting till its not as exciting to dive anymore. 2.5 blower pulley 9.1 crank pulley injectors and some LT and a heat exchanger are all on the to do list eventually.

So if we add a pulley and CAI we will get an engine light w/o a tune?

I think Ted's testing will give us the answer. I've been wondering this too, but I'm thinking one or the other.

I have been wondering if the Trinity programmer is enough of a tune to keep from getting codes with headers and a CAI along with a one of the smaller crank pulleys mentioned in this post.

Thanks.......

I just had the rotofab put on my car yesterday. Baseline was 508 cold and right at 470 once the engine warmed up. With engine warm, did 5 pulls with intake on NO TUNE, 508 was average and 514 was high pull. And yes these are sae corrected. It was 527 uncorrected. Bottom line is the rotofab gained about 40 to the ground with no tune.

Looking at your site. Do you order the ATI S/D kit and then add the crank pulley that you want on top of that? What about the belt? I thought you said the +10% required a longer belt.
