Order number 83 (ordered last week). Hope to see it soon. Love the looks and can't wait to try the performance.

I have used K&N filters on other vehicles I have owned in the past. I have no problem with oiling the filter, and never had any bad results.

I simply would prefer a dry filter this time around. My reasoning: I think some of the newer dry filter designs use a synthetic fiber media that works pretty well, and I think would filter out more dust than the oiled filter. (probably at the cost of airflow, yes.) But I would rather remove more dust if only to loose a tiny bit of air flow. These cone filters have a huge amount of surface area, so either way it will be an improvement over the stock filter size.

The cleanability of the filter is not that big of a deal for me, because I will not be putting that many miles on my Camaro. (weekend driver mostly) So a filter will last a long time for me, and I am not sure I believe that these dry filters can be "blown out" so I will most likely air hose it once and then replace it when it gets dirty again.

I emailed them and got a response on the 12/2, saying it would be shipped within 5 days. I'm order #56.
