I love it with the top down and think it looks fine with the top up.
The only good looking hardtop converts I can think of are the S2000 and the Z3....

We had a Pontiac G6 hardtop before the Camaro and it looked pretty good with the
top up and the top down. Just not a fan of ragtops personally.

Sadly I could easily see something like this runnin around in the Ozarks. You should see some of the hand built trikes that come through here.

We had one too. Fun car, but I didn't think it looked great with the top up...

Looks are soo subjective, but having one you know what happened to the trunk space when you put that top down....Useless. More useless than even my Solstice.

I do not like the cut lines that are on hard top convertibles which takes a lot away from the looks of the car with the top up. All those metal pieces have to go somewhere and it going to eat up all the trunk space to do it. And this is JMHO but it looks way worse than the coupe, not even close.

The camaro 'vert with the top up looks 100 times better than any hardtop convertible car that i've ever seen to date.

Sorry guys, I'm not loving it. Really glad I didn't wait for this to come out. The shark fin and third brake light are hideous.

It does look decent with the top down though.

Well, our windows had 20% tint and it was black, so it helped... I thought
it looked decent enough... more like the coupe version than other
convertibles I've seen... which I think was one of their goals.

The car definitely looked better from the rear and worsened as you came
around it... okay from the side, the front looked like every 4-banger
Enterprise rental car sedan version of the G6, bless it's heart.

Also, even with the top down there was enough room for a quick trip of
groceries in the space under the pull cover. Not terrible all things considered.

Not my style, I love my hard top. Now, if it was a hard retractable top, like BMW or Mercedes Benz, then I would have thought about it.

+ Their was talk of doing a hardtop through GM, GM said nope !, so the rag-top works for me !

Excellent quality pics, just not sure I like the topless version. Curious to see the weight difference between the two and what kind of rigidity loss we're going see.

The girlfriends father has a 69 camaro on a bronco frame I believe. Looks something like that. Unforunately the body is so rotted away its (in my opinion) not worth salvaging.

I should go take some pics of it.

I do like the looks of the new convertable. Can't wait to see them on the road!
