Just thought I'd say hello...I've been lurking for a while, enjoying all the great information and the photoshops on what's going to be my next car ( ) and thought I'd join up. Seems to be a pretty nice community here.

Hey guys, I'm new. My first car was actually an 81 Camaro...that I owned for all of half an hour, before a (then) new 99 Camaro pulled out on me and destroyed mine, sending me and the seller sliding down the road in front of the bank (where I was going to cash the check!).
I'm just excited for the new Camaro, so I figured I would join to keep up with it. (And god bless the Cubs, Andre) |

I'm new at this, so I may not be in the right forum to ask this, but I have two questions about the convertible: Are they still planning to ONLY offer it in Hugger Orange? Any more information about the folding top mechanism: will it have the low top-down profile of the prototype and/or a tonneau like the prototype?

Welcome to the site. And although this isn't the best place to ask such questions, I will answer the question and wait for a mod to move the thread.
I know nothing about it being offered in only 1 colour, and collectively we know nothing about any set colours for the coupe or vert. As far as what it will look and function like, there is less info on the convertible than the coupe. We will probably have to wait a few months, maybe longer than a year, to see what the prototype/production of the convertible is like.

hello everyone!
i'm new here, why i'm here is very simple: I LOVE u.s. muscle cars!!! last june, when i visited canada's westcoast for a month i rented a mustang v6 convertible. i was thrilled by the sound when i hit the gas, but what really disappointed was that there was NO push forward: 210 hp and no acceleration? that equals: no mustang for lou!! i hope the chevy engine is much better! the chassis already does look better! greets from the old world, lou |
