hey gang...

so yesterday I am driving to get my daughter from her job and on the car lot I pass i was SHOCKED to see a ABM SS with white rallys on the lot for sale. But VERY happy to report today when I made that trip that someone gave the ABM a brand new home!!!

And how many different colors and styles of SS does he have on that car? 6 maybe 7... DANG. I think we got the idea that it was an SS. Then for them all to be different styles

Agreed. To each his own, but my personal opinion is the 60's emblems and hood louvers should stay on the 60's camaros. To me, they simply don't belong on a 5th gen.
And ill throw out one more that will piss others off. The rally stripes on the 5th Gen Camaros? Even though I like the look but the stripes them selves were reserved for the 69 z28. You will never see rally stripes on a factory born 60's camaro unless it was z28.
A little history there folks. Factory hood and deck stripes were reserved for early model first gen Z28's only.
No Super Sports.
But they (rally stripes) do look cool on 5th Gens though and since they come from the factory that way I guess they are ok then.

I agree about the emblems, and the Camaro script as far as my car is concerned it is a 5th Gen and I want all my SS emblems to look like the new one. For those who put the old school SS on the grille what about the head rests? or the steering wheel? They are different... I am huge on consistency.

With regards to the rally's... yeah no Z/28 yet or maybe ever, but I really like the rally's mine will be painted on shortly. Different from the style they come from GM though.

Im with you. Be consistent. Use the same script no matter what gen style of script you use but make everything the same so it does not give something for others to point fingers at. Who wants finger pointing?

I put a request in to GM to find out how many Aqua Blue Camaro's were produced and the break down of each type of Camaro,1lt,2lt 1SS and 2SS with or without RS packages and ground effects pkg. What color interior,A6 or M6 tranny,sunroof or not and so on. I'll post as soon as I here back from GM.

Thanks. There can't be too many like this. I have never seen one other than mine. It would be cool to know how many there are out there.
