My co-worker drives a BMW 540 with Dinan exhaust. We both agree that the V-6 Camaro has a similar sound to many of the smaller displacement European V-8 engines (like his for example).

I actually felt a little sorry for the V6 Challenger. It was a pretty big

Yeah, but the V8 brakes would still hold up better around a track.

Personally, I'll probably be getting these for my V6. 6 piston calipers, 14 inch rotors. All around.

4.4L isn't that small:(

but in any case, i looove the sound exhaust note on mine - which isn't as nice as a dinan (maybe a lil more open/louder) so if the V6 is comparable, thats awesome!

I think it's going to take a LONG time before these kinds of videos become plane boring to watch. Thanks for sharing

No, it's not that small and BMW does well with those V-8's. It just doesn't quite have the grunt of the AMG (which sounds more American than Euro).

BTW -- My co-workers other car is a Chrysler Sebring (inherited at marriage). He calls it the -- "SEMI-HEMI"

For initial stopping numbers, yes, the V6's lower weight makes up for the smaller brakes. However, the V8's Brembos will hold up better on multiple stops, with less fade and heat problems.

I don't remember if it was that article, but I remember reading multiple stops with those breaks to start to enduce fade, as opposed to the SS's
