+1, it looks like its just a broken clip from the pics, i wouldn't mess with it if i were you just in case you damage your paint

wait and take it to the dealer and have them replace the clips

Since it's under warranty--you should have the dealer fix it...

you should NOT do anything your self to try to fix the problem..let the dealer take care of it. If you do anything regardless if you fix it or not and later on down the line say the paint started peeling off or something and you take it in and tell them... once they find out that you did some type of work in the same area it won't be covered under warranty... not saying this would happen just thats how my luck is and it would happen to me... I always look at things from the worst possible outcome.

I was in fort worth in may when they had 40+ of em downtown, I saw a lot like that figured it was fixable at the dealer.

I saw 4 cars at one dealer and 1 at another and 3 more at another one yesterday. It looked like all of them were misaligned a little but not that bad to worry about.

Same here,
fit and finish is typical GM product,
a quick look leads me to believe the clips may be slightly off the attachment on the rockers , creating that slight bend in it :(

hope my explanation make sense !

Glad to hear you fixed it yourself, everytime the car goes back to the dealrship to many other things can happen, not to mention the inconvenience. What was the problem ?

Like hell it is. A plastic moulding that is less than perfect, does not add up to the car having poor fit and finish. In fact, that plastic rocker panel is the only thing on the body that is out. I am sure that by this time next year, the rockers will be flush.

I have the same problem and I am tired of hearing it is just because its a first year car. To many problems for GMs big hyped, look what we can do, car. In a year I'll trade out of this dog.
