the sky is blue. Water is wet. SRF is the Gold Standard of brake fluid. Carbotech has a chart showing cost, dry and wet boil points.

Depends on your driving style ;-)

Wet boil is important, even to a daily driver. If you only get in a couple of ACs a year with SRF you are good to go. Can you run another, of course.

to those wondering...yes castrol srf is by far the best available to us regular joes. as pete says its the gold standard it is also priced as liquid gold. I have had good times with amsoil and motul...they however are not comparable to srf its apples and planets comparison. If I bought SRF and my wife found the receipt she would flip...she already was surprised by the price of my oil

It depends on if you havent seperated your clutch and if you are doing a full flush with a tech II. Have you replaced your lines already?

Good choice I am jealous. Still need to bleed the fluid after a good track day.

Yea I've separated them - but I'll probably do the clutch fluid too while I'm at it. And I've replaced the lines already.

cant imagine the clutch needs liquid gold. i use three motul bottles per every fluid change. thats a flush a bleed and another bleed pretty sure it would only take 2 if you could see the difference in color when flushing it out. I dont have a clutch tho.

pretty sure srf comes in litre size. never seen it smaller

Ok Blake, just had the Camaro brake pads and fluid changed to get ready for Road America in June....Cobalt Friction pads and SRF fluid change done by Bruce Raymond Performance....will see how good they feel on the track...and anyone close enough to get to Bruce Raymond's shop, he's a hell of a nice guy and very knowledgeable...
