Metra iPad Mini Dash Kit with Alpine CDE-HD147BT Head Unit

Up for sale I have a modified Metra Dash Kit that fits an iPad Mini. This kit includes the following:
  • 16 GB iPad Mini AT&T 4G LTE - $459 MSRP
  • Metra 99-3010S Dash Kit - $279 MSRP
  • Alpine CDE-HD148BT Head Unit - $280 MSRP
  • All Cabling for the Camaro
  • 100% Plug and Play

This comes prewired for the radio and the dash kit and is completely plug and play with the existing system.

If you don't want the Alpine Head Unit, I won't include it for $150 less.

Altogether I'm looking for $800.

I will post more pics tonight but it looks and works absolutely awesome!

How much for everything but the iPad? And can I remove the iPad when I want or no?

@Camaro1002 I would take $400 for the radio and the Metra kit together. It wasn't designed for easy removal. It can be removed though by using a little plastic tool that I will include with the kit.

@Ron Yes it does keep steering wheel functions. It controls the volume of the Alpine Head Unit. Are you interested in the entire package?

@Camaro1002 You can do it yourself definitely. The dash kit fits all 5th gen camaros and its all wired up so all you have to do is take your current radio out and plug all the connectors in and you're good to go.

Unfortunately I don't have a Camaro to install it into at the moment as I just traded in my 2012 ls for a 2011 Corvette.

It does operate just like a normal Metra kit though. The only thing different is the use of the Alpine headunit with the iPad.

Here is an overview of how the kit operates:

The Alpine Head Unit, in my car, I installed in the glove compartment. It is extremely easy to mount it nicely in the glove compartment without obstructing the use of the compartment. All of the connectors are plug and play with absolutely no wire cutting or splicing. The iPad is connected via USB to the head unit and then the head unit is set to USB and plays any audio coming out the iPad.

It works absolutely awesome. I loved having it in my car and I plan to do the same in my Corvette
