opinions on futral motorsports
I was gonna have my car cammed and tuned by futral and i was wondering if anyone had any work done by them and how did they do?

They are very good from what i have heard and they are about 1/2 mile from my house, I went with thunder racing though because i know them and they did a great job w/no issues.

They do very good work. They built the motor in my 02 SS. LS2 402 dynoed 513rwhp on motor and 700rwhp on a 200 shot. Will be taking my 2010 to them soon for a cam install.

they tuned my ls3 m6 car a few times b/c everytime i do something i bring it back for tuning. the only thing bad i can say about futral is that he has a hard time with tuning automatics l99 camaros.

Only good things to say about Futral Motorsports, he built an awesome LT1 Camaro for a buddy of mine and he just recently spec'ed the cam for my turbo silverado. He is definitely one of the best LSX guys in the business.

Is it just automatics in general or l99 cars because i was gonna change the lifters and stuff out and convert into a ls3

he is having a problem tuning the autos which is l99. the problem is with camaros b/c the computer is different than other cars like the vette, g8 and cts.

He knows how to tune the L99 autos. I very good friend of mine has a fastlane turbo camaro which had a bad tranny tune and was not engaging. Allan Futral fixed it and saved him a new tranny and in the process got him 20 more rwhp and 60ftlbs. And yess hes knows cams and is a straight up shop. He will make your car fly.
