Every now and then while I'm driving all the lights on my rear view mirror will flash on and stay on for a few seconds. Is this the car like making sure they're working or is it onstar peeping in on me?

I'm not sure if I have had this happen or not. Probably the NSA hacking into Onstars server and spying on us
