I cancelled mine on November 21st, and on November 22nd bought my Vette. My dealer was starting to look shaky when they asked for a larger deposit than the contract originally stated, so I pullled out. Luckily, I received a check for my deposit within a few days. Never been happier with a car either.

I did, but it was to buy a current GM so they didn't even blink, they just applied it to the other car.

the dealership i ordered from has over 10 alotments available. They have been very good to me with this deal and three previous purchases. If anyone is looking for a dealer, this one is a good one.
Order it here, I'll pick you up at the airport, then you can drive it home!!!!

I canceled my first order to place an order with another dealer. I was told by the second dealer (both are in Virginia) that state law mandated a full refund of my deposit. I'm no lawyer so if ths is true or not I don't know but I have no reason to believe he'd make that statement without prior knowledge. The first dealer has "graciously accepted my cancellation with a full refind". Hmph. Still waiting for it.

Last Monday just before Thanksgiving. It'll take a little time.

One of the hardest things I've had to do

My wife was laid off Monday. With her $34K income gone, I was forced to cancel my order yesterday. It almost makes me cry! And I had it for $1075 UNDER MSRP! I've been following this car since it was a rumor in late 2005, so it really is a bummer. Well.....I hope things turn around in 12 months or so. and I'll order another!

Sorry to hear that Gary. Best of luck to you. Stick around though and hopefully things will improve and your Camaro will be in your driveway before you know it.
