New steering wheel

So I have a 2010 2ss and I'm starting to not like the factory steering wheel. It is leather with all the controls, but the way the controls go "inward" towards the centre is not comfortable.
To solve my dilemma I want to swap the 12 or 13+ Camaro year steering wheel with my current one.
I have looked at the forums and threads and Have yet to find someone do this to their car. I know the air bag is a different shape so I'll need a new one.
So the real question is, are all the electrical connectors the same on both the airbag sensors and the wheel controls?
Also, I noticed the new wheel has a keyed shaft but not sure if my current style is the same.

Thanks for reading!
Hope someone can help me out and point me In the right direction.
