Those who installed the McLeod RXT clutch... step in side.

I just got my car back last night from having the clutch installed. This seems like it will get a little to get used to. It has a completely different feel for me. It's not that the pedal feels any heavier, it's just the clutch engagement point feels that much earlier. Did any of you guys feel the same way? I realize it probably won't have the same feel as stock... I am just curious to hear some other impressions after your install was done.

Thanks

It probably just needs to be broke in for a few hundred miles. Mine got better with time

I got one of these after installing SPEC clutch in my CAMARO. You can adjust it to bring your engagement point closer to the floor. Works well !

You will have to bleed your clutch after installing it.

Light pedal, slightly lower engagement, slight chatter for a few hundred miles were all normal after install. About 75 passes down the strip, light pedal, engagement in the middle of the throw and no chatter...also this clutch does not like being slipped. I do bleed my clutch after I take the car to the strip

Nice ride!

If you don't mind me asking, who did your clutch install?
I need a new clutch and all the shops near by said they would rather not do it. Thinking about doing it myself, but sure would be nice to have some one else do it. Then I can go fishing while its getting fixed
