On another note, I registered for the March Texas Mile with a 75 % confidence we will be ready...

My oldest brother Tom is going to help me build the spoiler for the rear, though he doesn't know this yet...

Corey and I spoke last night at length and we have a list of items that need to be done and things that will wait til after the mile...

My twin brother from another mother, Mike Burrell who sold me my wheels is going to pull in some markers and see if he can get me some hoosier 315/40/19 tires for this event... As he said, the good years will only allow me to use about 4 cylinders as they won't handle the power... Here's hoping Mike can pull this one off...

And a few more, showing more detail of the valve train and the lower block skirt... The dry sump pan will bolt directly to the skirt which adds a huge amount of stiffness and rigidity to the lower block....

So, I have my seat almost completely installed... I still have to build a small bottom plate and trim the rear mount tabs where the seatbelt passes through...

Corey spent the day adjusting one of my turbo manifolds. With the bosses for the six bolt heads, one of the pipes would not clear and so the manifold wouldn't mount up like it did with the four bolt heads. The solution is to cut the collector off and then cut out that section of header pipe... This section will be rerouted to clear the boss and it will all be welded back together... Then it will have to be re-ceramic coated... No big deal there...
