I step Down
So i live in a small town with only about 8-10k poeple... their are a couple of camaro owners around and maybe only 1 or 2 other SS's. My car is slightly modded so i was the big dog on campus... but not until yesterday. I was walking out of a local store to see a beautiful red and black ZL1... hope this guy comes on the forums... because nice car!

Camaro CRAZY
|
I saw my first ZL1 Camaro yesterday at a new club meeting in Louisville. It was the Rally Yellow, and man was it beastly looking! I too hope they join the forums, I never can see enough Camaros.
 Maybe he will be at CamaroFest, you going?

He doesn't say black stripes - just red with black. Fog lamp area is black, the ZL1 hood insert is black or carbon fiber (which looks black), etc... Hence "red and black"

Why are you so concerned with being the 'big dog' and standing out? First rule of car enthusiasm - there will always been someone with a nicer/faster car. Enjoy what you have for yourself.

I got parked in between 2 ZL1s on our cruise night the other night and everyone was ogling my V6 because it's got Kool blue/white halo lighting and a different color grill. Go figure. They didn't know what they weren't looking at.

I'm still surprised I have not seen a ZL1 on the road yet in my area. Back in the 4th gen days, the cars were everywhere. We have a decent amount of Mustangs and some Camaros, but I have not sighted a ZL1 yet. Hell, I have even seen a few ZR1s on the road!
