DUI checkpoint location help? Long Beach

There is a checkpoint somewhere tonight. I have prom tonight and I want to avoid traffic on the way home plus any tickets they might try to push on me.

Web-sites for cities will show their dates and locations....They are also required to publish them in a local newspaper in advance...They're no big secret....

Trust me I am not drinking and driving but I don't want to get stuck in traffic and have the chance of getting tickets for exhaust or etc.

I love check points. I dont mind stoping at one just to deny them a search. Considering its illegal to do a DUI check point.

If its a DUI checkpoint chances are they aren't worried about the random shit you'd normally get a ticket for. They're looking for drunk drivers not random traffic infractions. Although looking at your signature, I'm not sure what you're worried about getting a ticket for.

I'm actually talking about illegal search of your property or person without probable cause. All they look for is consent, and if they don't get it. They'll pull out other suggestive techniques. I was LEO(Master at Arms second class), and know the constitutional rights of individuals. I obeyed my oath, and followed it to the "T". Honestly though. Looking for drunk drivers is not very hard. DUI checkpoints are not needed.
