You guys and women make me proud! I wish I could have been there. My family lives in Albuquerque, I live in Brunswick GA. I go back home once in awhile look forward to doing a met and ride with you guys, so you could see my sleepy beauty black SS/RS.

I definitely wouldn't be able to make it on the 4th (as I'm still in Mexico)...But I had originally planned to come back for a 4 day weekend the following weekend so maybe then?

Unfortunately, everything is still up in the air because I've had some problems with my student visa down here (when I came into the country on the 28th of July they had the stamp wrong and it said the 28th of June - and I had to register my visa within 30 days and this led to so many problems ugh :(...long story short, I still don't have my visa back and I'm supposed to go back Monday to see if they'll finally give it back after having paid fines and made about 10 trips down to the migration office which is a 100 time amplified version of the MVD)...

So I won't know if I'm coming back until Monday (or perhaps even later than that if they really want to be mean and make my life harder)....But I will for sure let you guys know if I can make it! If not, you guys should definitely get together and them post some pics because I'm going crazy missing my car down here! lol

Yeah I think that still seems to be the case...It was unbelievable how much I had to end up paying in all because of this mess...My estimates are around $300-$400 extra from what I remember paying all the fees, fines, cab rides, bus rides, copies of documents, using the internet in cafes around that place when I was in a hurry (the place is an hour from my house each way), paying to get forms typed on a typewriter, paying at an internet cafe to draft legal letters and print them out in a hurry, and so on...

It was definitely one of the most frustrating experiences I've had to deal with, especially since it wasn't my fault the guy at customs didn't know how to work a stamp that day...But oh well...

I'm finally rid of those worries and on my way back home Friday to visit so let's try to meet up and see how many can come!

They still love their rubber stamps don't they. Let's see who we here from for this sat, remember ABQ Balloon fiesta is going and has been great for the 1st weekend but the winds are very high for the week days so next weekend looks good weatherwise for them but if not we could have alot of crowded places. You know they still can't get the weather right out here even with all the tech they have these days. My fingers are crossed for good weather and turnout.

So are you guys and gals up to a meet this weekend? I could do it Sunday evening at about 6 or 7 is that a little too late? It's because I'm originally from Gallup so I'm going back to visit family this weekend while I'm back and then I'll stay in Los Lunas Sunday night before my flight back here to Guadalajara Monday afternoon...

I'd love to do a meet up to have some cool pictures to get through the rest of the semester! lol

Regarding the place...Yeah balloon fiesta, that's right...One of the many things I miss about New Mexico

...Really wherever is fine with me - if there wasn't any crowd at Hello Deli like Gen5SSRS recommended, that sounds like it would work fine
