Crankcase breathers, needed or not? Ted? Andy? or others?
If you have a functioning PCV system w/ a catch can on your car do you really need a breather to vent to atmosphere on a blown car?
Please discuss.

Any time we can have a Vacuum even a Slight one in the Crankcase Rings Seal Better, and Pistons Go Down Easier unleashing some extra HP. The REV Xtreme Catch Cans we are carrying are well thought out and designed specifically for 3 different applications, N/A, Centrifugal/turbo, or PD superchargers. So I am recommending them for all Applications. I personally Run a Vacuum Pump Set up on my Race Car to maintain 8 inches of Vacuum in the Crank Case at all times. An Open Breather Works Well for WOT, but you must eliminate any PCV system or you will be sucking in Unmetered Air in to the intake tract affecting the Tune during Vacuum situations. Ted.

I agree with Ted. Pretty much check your current setup and moniter the oil in the catch can. I like pulling a vacuum under boost for ring seal.
