I just found out from the noweeds website, that it doesn't work for the convertible.

Major disappointment. I thought this was really cool. Still do actually.

I have 3 inch no weeds and 1-7/8 AR headers going on my cammed ls3 with MBRP exhaust. I have to get some custom work done as they will not work as is, with this X pipe, but it is going to be nasty when it's done!!!

No it should not the Cutouts are just behind the o2 sensors so the car will not even know that they are there. I have read that it may change the air fuel mixture but I'm not sure on that. I am going to data log my car after I install mine to find out. No tune is needed is what I understand.

I guess I'm a little curious is to why. That seems strange to me.

Did someone post a little while back that cars wouldn't pass inspection in certain states if they had cutouts? Anyone remember something like that? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

It's just a short clip of me at autocross but this is with the stock headers and Cats. I will be making a comparison video of completely stock vs stock headers with NoWeeds vs PFADT header/no cats with stock exhaust vs PFADT headers/nocats with NoWeeds.

I don't know why it wouldn't work, I decided i was interested enough to shoot them an email this morning to find out the answer.

I'm not sure, I would think if that was all you had and you switched it the NoWeeds to the stock exhaust position (closed) for the test they wouldn't even be the wiser.

Personally I think cut-outs sound like absolute garbage. Add in open headers and it's like a redneck truck imo, but exhaust is always a personal preference and not everyone will agree.

I doubt the noweeds would work on a convertible because of the additional bracing on the bottom of the car. I'd expect the bracing to get in the way.
