I don't know that the manual trans would be lighter. I wouldn't think it would be, but............
There is alot of talk of body/chassis flex but there is a lot of steel in this car.
I am thinking the chassis is more rigid than some want to believe.

You might want to add these as well they have some nice grip to them.
How do you get/order these? They look just like the SRP racing pedals that I want, but I would LOVE to have the "Lingenfelter" footrest! It's a very nice touch for an LPE car!

I was going to call Ryan at LPE and ask them about them but I haven't had a chance to do it yet. Let me know if you find anything out. I just ordered the floor mats and I am waiting to hear back on head rests.

Abygale these were prototypes on the LS7 car at SEMA, they should become available here in the next few weeks from LPE.

You are right Windy, the auto is actually 9 lbs lighter. I was still in the muncie, turbo 400 mode on my '69.

I saw they had them on their website and RS said he got them. I called Ryan and he ordered them for me. They are Lloyd mats that they order in and then ship out with their logo. I asked Ryan about the headrests and he said he was checking with a couple different companies they have used in the past and will get back to me on it.
