Oxygen sensor bad..twice/ three times now
One week ago after dropping my daughter off my check engine light comes on. I dropped the car of at my local Chevy dealer and later on that same day get it back with a new oxygen sensor replaced. Well, fast forward the next week and the same thing happens again. Has anyone had an oxygen sensor to go bad on their zl1? Mine is a 2013 with 1600 miles and stock with a k&n replacement air filter. My serv manager tells me that their isn't a pattern of this happening with the zl1.

I apologize for the issues with your O2 sensor at such an early stage in owning your ZL1. Did the dealership research any potential recalls for you? Also, has the second repair been completed? Let me know what the status of this issue is as there may be some options I can explore on your behalf. Best regards, William R. Chevrolet Customer Care

Did this get resolved? I just had to replace an o2 sensor myself and was wondering if the computer has to be flashed afterwards to reset it or anything?

well it obviously can't be a bad o2 sensor that many times. You likely have a wiring issue, bad cat, exhaust leak, or vacuum leak.
what code is coming up? |

Here in Baton Rouge recently, they blended to much extra alcohol in the gas. It caused a lot of issues from o2 sensors to cats.

Sounds to me like your dealer's mechanics are idiots, it obviously wasn't the O2 sensor. I doubt they even tested it, they most likely pulled the codes and assumed it was the sensor
Had it not been under warranty that would've cost you an extra diagnostic fee when no diagnostic was ever done. I'd find a new dealer for repairs, they obviously don't put any pride into their work |

If the code coming up is for the O2 sensor find out what bank and what sensor it is, the wiring harness might have moved to close to the exhaust and it may be melting the wires.

Lose the K&N filter? There have been some problems reported along these lines.

There are different O2 codes for different conditions. What is the code? If it were a circuit issue, those codes are completely different. My guess is that they are misdiagnosing the issue.
