Say you can get your hands on one of these OnStar boxes. And then you install it. How do you connect with your phone? I've connected my phone with my Dad's '09 Impala before and you have to push a phone button on the steering wheel before you can attempt to connect your phone. My car doesn't have this button since it's a 1SS so will it connect without the button?

I tried calling my dealership and he had to call GM about this. They told me that you can't order this part unless it's fire/crash/stolen and even then they'd replace the one you had. I told the parts guy about this post and he told me that you'd have to have the dealer re-program the Onstar. I was like Yeah... no... Either way I was left empty handed. I don't want to pay 250 bucks on ebay for this. This sucks. I don't understand why GM won't let you buy this part.

I found this
http://www.partswebsite.com/gmpartsc...partnum=accept It says its for a buick though. That's what I get when I search for that part number# 20842731 I wonder if it'll work. I don't want to waste 282 bucks for it not to work. |

Any other aftermarket bluetooth will cost at least $250, I'd say it's worth at least that. |

I just can't see spending 310 dollars total for something I don't know will work in my LS camaro. I'll hold off for a while. Maybe someone else will be bold enough to order it. I don't have that kind of cash laying around.

Hey guys I bought that 2010 Camaro Bluetooth OnStar VCIM part #20842731 with Bluetooth antenna off Ebay for my wife's Yukon.
Unfortunately it cant be programmed for a 2007 GMT900 truck its only good for a few 2010 GM products like the Camaro so its no good to me. It came out of a 2010 Camaro being stripped for racing so its has never been activated and its in perfect shape. Im selling it for what I paid $290 with antenna included. email me if your interested |
