When I saw the pics of that 'vert in front of the tech center I was feeling good.But now with this,another delay- I don't know anymore.I could wait,and then they'll drop another bomb.another delay.--In '03 when I ordered my SSR they said they would never make it with a six speed or a bigger engine than the 5.3.And we all know what happened.-'Don't think I can wait much longer.Like the guy said,we need some official news.--

i think they should have made a convertable with a (audi hard top that folds in the trunk) instead of using fabric.

I got impatient too. Didn't like the look of the pre-pro...

Now before you get all :headlights: on me, I don't like the look of the third brake light and shark fin. If you get any sort of spoiler above stock height, both of those will be blocked from view and I believe that is illegal in CA. I plan on getting a higher spoiler so it makes sense to get the hardtop for me.

Well I would wait before taking this article as fact until one of the mods, mainly Fbodfather, chimes in on the credibility of the store. Especially since we were told at the meet and greet that everything was still on schedule and a full go.

1. Tran posted the story, he's the site administrator. If he knew anything else he would have said it.

2. Fbod is not a moderator here or on any site that I know of. I'm guessing that was a typo.

3. you were told that everything was on schedule. Looks to me that it is. These kinds of things take longer than you think.

The next time we have a test mule I'll try to snap some pictures for you guys. Or I can try to get answers for any questions you guys may have.

Oh and I've seen nothing that would indicate a drop hard top. But I've begged for someone to entertain the idea of bringing back the t-tops
