There is another member DrumDawg who got the virtually the same car as I did and he has been in "Available to Ship" status since 091709!!!!!! A full week before mine was built!!! That does not sit well with me. 12 days later and his has not left the plant. Can't help but think the same will happen to me.

On a side note, you only post your A91XXXX number in the "Where's my camaro" if your status on the camarotracking.com spreadsheet says "TRUCK". If and when it says "RAIL", you have to call the train hotlines to track the shipment. Read the first post completely on that thread and it will go into more detail.

Lol we'll help you out. The camarotracking.com sheet updates once a day anytime from 6am - 10am mountain time. I saw that you posted your car in there earlier. You'll have an update in the morning which will give you your rail car number.

Once you get that rail car number, then you call 1-800-235-2352 (Is it bad i have this memorized already??). Use the automated system and DO NOT TALK TO ANYBODY IN PERSON. Sorry for the caps but that was written in the other forum over and over again. If you do than we will lose the ability to track our cars. When the automated system asks for your car initials, say the first half of your rail car number (ex. ETTX) and then it will ask you for the numbers (ex. 52859). It will give you a location, date, and time of where your car last was and give you an ETA if they have one. Haven't gotten to the truck yet, so this is all i know so far. Hope this helps.

Yeah, seems to be the best bet to call your self if you know it is on the rail. My car went from Buffalo to Selkirk, and from Selkirk it left 5 AM this morning it is on its way to Doremus NJ. I assume it gets a truck from there since my dealer is a little over an hour away. Just trying to figure out how long it takes to get from Selkirk to Doremus and how much longer i have to wait. Would love to get my car this week.....

I got my VIN yesterday and my dealer got the invoice today. Said it was shipped 9/26 and has a estimated delivery date of 10/9. Not too bad considering it has to come all the way down to Mississippi.

Everyone..... YES, YES, YES!!!! I have now taken delivery of my baby! Got the call at 12:42PM today. Went to the dealership after work- 5PM, and an hour and a half later (yes, a long time with the paper work and BS'ing), I drove it home.

Long story on the deal, but I came out like a bandit. I'll post that story when I have more time.

For those that are still waiting, be patient. As you have heard a thousand times, the wait will be worth it. I owned a 2000 SS for 9 years, and this one is just so much better. Can we say, perma-grin!

Yes, it does. Doesn't look that bad to me, though I would rather of had them lower on the rear. BTW, they work too. I was backing into the garage tonight and they were beeping at me. Was maybe about 2 feet away from the way and got a solid tone.

What did you order? Mine didn't have any stripes for them to paint. I think that makes all the difference. I suspect that because so many people are ordering with rally stripes and that since now the plant is doing them- they are back logged big time.

Chicago suburbs- where at? I'm way west, but work in Rolling Meadows.

My Camaro is just a 1LT with the only options of Boston Acoustics and Convenience & Connectivity package. No stripes. I plan on driving it year round so I wanted the all season tires and a cheaper version so I didn't feel guilty getting salt on it in the winter. I live in Antioch and work in Highland Park so we're not too far from each other.

Congrats to all who are on the way and who have received. You guys are all leaving in me in your dust!! Seems like I'm the only one still sitting at the plant. You notice there is always at least one in every TPW thread who complains almost daily because they don't get shipped nearly as fast as everyone else. I was so hoping not to be that unlucky one. Luck has run out.

You know I read many responses in different threads to people who have suffered as I have that all the "labor pains" will go away and to be patient. That's real easy to say when you are not the one going through it. I will love this car nonetheless, but I have to honestly say GM is putting a sour taste in my mouth that will never go completely away. When you see over a thousand cars that have been built after yours, get shipped and mine continues to sit there is absolutely ridiculous. GM is truly taking away a piece of whole experience. I hope one of their executives reads this someday and realizes how unfair this is. :(

By the way WINKSCAMARO, you likely shipped because your window sticker appears this morning and that usually means the car has been shipped.

Ok, for those of you who are anxiously awaiting a response to this question, I'll answer it myself. The car left at 5:13 AM on the Sept 29. It arrive in Doremus at 6:20 PM the same day. I checked this morning, and as of 8:30 it has been placed in Industry.
