Most, if not all, of us have received our VIN's. Just waiting for delivery now for most of us.

Congrats to all that have their cars. Has your dealers eta been pretty accurate? My dealer says Friday 10/9 and claims they are usually exact on the delivery dates.

got mine today!!!! raining and cold will get pics when can. wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they weren't kidding 6 has almost too much power can anyone say speeding ticket? permagrin can't explain this feeling. my long time dream has come true today it's like being 8 years old on christmas day all over. it's actually very easy and fun to drive i was concerned coming from driving a 04 impala but very easy. hope to get pics once it stops raining. jupiter chevy gary in sales was the best no hassels or surprises msrp plus -$500 return rebate and -$1000 gm m/c rewards plus -$5500 trade in wow is all i can say at this point can't wait to get off work and drive home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dealer told me 10/8...CSX automated update says 10/9....we'll see who's got the better ETA...My money is on CSX.

The railcar dropped mine off yesterday and the CSX just says departed with no eta avaliable. A truck will take mine about 3 hours to my dealer. They have been saying 10/9 for 2 weeks now. The CSX system must be used for hauling more than just cars because its gone from where the car was dropped but still has no eta.

I read somewhere that the truck company has 3 business days to pick up the car from the rail yard and get it to the dealership, so if it was dropped off yesterday then i would say your dealer is right on top of things unless it comes earlier.

Hey guys, after all this waiting, if your dealer asked you if he could leave your car on the showroom floor for a couple of days before taking possession, would you do it? That's exactly what ours did!!

HELL NO!! Lol

Sorry for the caps but first off i'd rather be driving it somewhere since i waited this long to get it.

Second of all i would have to fight somebody if they put their grubby hands all over it and wanted to sit in it and touch it etc...

And third of all your dealer should be beaten for even asking..lol

Would depend on how big a rebate I would get from the dealer. I sure would not do it for free. But I would make it very clear that it was in no way to be driven or started.

It would take at least a $500 rebate for me to even consider and more likely have to be at least $1000 and even then I'd only let them have it another 3-4 days at most.

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, they have had a yellow Transformers Edition parked in the back for the last 2 and half weeks. It has never moved. Why haven't they put that one in their showroom? I past by it everyday to go to work so I can indeed verify this is the case. Good question to ask them, or better yet, just simply say NO!!!!!! You owe them nothing! They will get their money and Gunn has had a long waiting list of orders so why would they need to show the car to anybody? Take your car and run!
